Bush: My message was that we believe strongly in elections and that you ought to have elections soon and you need to take off your uniform.

Yes, bush is dumb, but I don't exactly see what the point of point of passing this around, Pakistan has a different constitution then the U.S. Bush isn't both the President and a member of the military, he's a civilian leader.

Oh, you can do it, George. Heck, you have been doing it for the past seven or so years.
What you meant to say is that you can't do it effectively.

While all you nancies were sitting in civics classes learning about the separation of powers, our leader was practicing how to rule. Standing in front of the mirror, working on his sneer. Getting used to the adrenalin rush that comes with a good line of blow. Mocking and berating subordinates. All secure in the knowledge that he would, one day, rule without a uniform.
And his military would be safe in the hands of his vice-president.

You know what would be good? It would be good if Bush would put pressure on Musharraf to stop his autocratic antidemocratic behavior.
Oh, Bush is doing that finally? Well, that's a good thing.
What is this post about again?

The only Presidents ever to have been impeached were Andrew Johnson (1867) and Bill Clinton (1998), both of whom were acquitted in their Senate trials.
