Dangerous Minds. Former FBI profiler John Douglas is featured in a New Yorker article about the art and history of profiling the criminal mind. For much more information on the subject, Douglas is also included in a chapter of Criminal Profiling, a book-length article extensively examining the history of crime analysis and psychological profiling, from the Crime Library.
This post was deleted for the following reason: posted previous - a post about profilers generally in a few days or so would be great. -- jessamyn

I emailed the admins to see if we can omit the first link (which is the double) and leave the link to the Criminal Profiling article (the third link), which I think is interesting enough to merit its own FPP. If the admins don't agree, I'll understand, but I didn't think it would hurt to ask.

What kind of person would double post this? A female from Kansas, who feels under appreciated and underpaid, she's often confused for other people, making her feel a little defensive.
And when you find her, she'll be roaring.
