A 2 MILLION DOLLAR LAWSUIT AGAINST A BLOGGER?
November 13, 2007 2:23 PM Subscribe
hoder gets slapped by a lawsuite sponsored by a neo-con think tank Mehdi Khalaji, an Iranian 'expert' at the Washington Institute for the Near East Policy (WINEP) has now officially filed a libel and defamation lawsuit against me in Canada and has claimed $2,000,000 damages. ŁQuite a modest champion of free speech, isn't he?
Why? Because I've been very critical about him serving the likes of Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, James Woosley and the rest of those filthy warmongers at the Washington Institute for the Near East Policy (WINEP), which was established by and is strongly associated with the Israeli Lobby's in the United States, according to Mearsheimer and Walt. As a result, I have written that Khalaji, an advoacte of the economic warfare against Iran, is a traitor to his people and his country, as a result.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Weird quoting of a blog, too much outrage and opinion. Maybe wait until it's over and post about the aftermath? -- mathowie

I think maybe this isn't a self-link, it just uses that always-confusing technique of unclear quoting.
And tags don't work like that.

Also, how annoying is it when bloggers fight to be treated as serious journalists, but when held to the same standards as other writers, they retreat under "I'm just a blogger? A BLOGGER, for crying out loud! I'm not a real journalist!"
(Specific merits of this case, or lack thereof, notwithstanding.)

I don't think this is a self-link; as far as I can tell, he's just quoting the blog he's linked to.
