Berkowitz loves Bush and whining

Law professor and Giuiliani advisor Peter Berkowitz calls Bush hatred insanity. Glenn Greenwald calls Berkowitz self-absorbed with a bruised ego, and the Wall Street Journal editors hypocrites.
This post was deleted for the following reason: you know, I hate hatred too but this post is just SLBOE (single link blog op ed) except with a second SLBOE to keep it company. -- jessamyn
Wait... you mean it's possible NOT to hate Bush?

Is it insane to hate Peter Berkowitz? Because if it is, then toss me in a rubber room.

So, for several minutes, I held forth, suggesting that however wrongheaded or harmful to the national interest the president's policies may have seemed to my progressive colleagues, hatred tended to cloud judgment, and therefore was a passion that a citizen should not be proud of being in the grips of and should avoid bringing to public debate.
I didn't hate Bush at the beginning of his administration. I disliked him, I thought he was a bit of a fool, but I did not hate him, specifically because I felt that hate might cloud my judgment of his actions.
I started to really, really dislike him when he shifted focus from Afghanistan and OBL, to Iraq. And I started to hate his administration when it deflected criticism for this action, and suggested that anyone who disagreed might be a traitor to the United States.
Since then, he has repeatedly demonstrated that he deserves nothing but my scorn. I tried to be rational and fair in the beginning, but it was a one way street, and I can only be charitable for so long.

I admit it. I've hated Bush ever since I first laid eyes on his chimpy face.
Take that, Berkowitz!
