My first girlfriend, who, before me, had been (as the kids say) teh gay, was asked by her mother around the time we started dating if her queerness had been just a phase to which she replied: "Yeah, being queer is always just a phase: You're born. You're queer. You die."
That's what I think of when I hear the six word autobiographies mentioned.
