I've been seeing that link for a while - I keep hoping it'll be updated and he will've done something with the scooter.

The link in the original post goes to a page with a link to the page that you posted, mattoxic, and is far from dead. The scooter was on the page at the time of the original post, too. Had you read the comments in the original post that would have been evident. You can get to the page from the original post and there have been no updates or changes since then. It's nothing personal, it's just been posted before.
