Daniel Kitson, Edinburgh 2005

Full set from standup comedian Daniel Kitson. (website) (Previously)
He's the funniest standup comedian I know by a mile - and this is a better set than the one I posted last time (though he's done better work than both of these sets since then). It also brings up part of why I feel somewhat ambivalent about him, despite how funny he is. I hate ironic racism/bigotry - which he talks about in the set.
For those of you who haven't heard of him, some reviews and quotes to maybe entice you to listen past the first five or ten minutes:
"Kitson's new show, lasting nearly two hours if he gets carried away, is a masterpiece of stand-up; his appeal is unquantifiable and unquotable, but lies in a singular alchemy of intelligence, integrity, humanity, honesty and a sense of being at home in his own skin." - The Guardian
"Extraordinary… A master storyteller… He has an evident passion for wordplay, a scientist's curiosity for the odd turn of phrase" - Time Out New York
"There's a guy nobody knows about yet. He's a young guy from London named Daniel Kitson, and he's honestly the funniest comic I've ever seen in my life." - David Cross
"First of all, Daniel Kitson f'n blew my mind tonight at the Gothamist show. Dude is just on another level. It was like watching Coltrane or something." - Aziz Ansari
And as he'd say himself (and does) - he's an award winner.

This post was deleted for the following reason: Honestly, two posts about the same specific guy-you-like, from the same user, less than a year apart: seems really kind of not okay. -- cortex
Dang--- the first link won't play for me.
Unless he's some kind of statuary mime?

Two of these three links are exactly the same as in your last post and the more inside here is all just review quotes. I know you like the guy, but how is this not just kitsonupdatefilter?

jessamyn: it's a completely different, full standup set? I can't really help linking to his site a second time, or the wikipedia link. Here's a review of this set I just found.

Dizzy: it seems to work fine for me?

I don't want to fill the thread up with my comments defending the post, so this'll be my last one: if there are two different comedy programmes made by the same team of comedians, say, two posts about them would be okay. These two posts are two very different sets, so I thought it'd be fine. I have no connection to him, and he doesn't need the publicity (nor does he want it, probably.) I just saw this today and thought I'd share. I'll let you guys decide if it's worth the post.

Dizzy: It's playing with QuickTime on my computer - but admittedly, his site isn't the best put together. I'll go and see if there's another way.

How, YoBananaBoy? I don't know how to find the direct link. I even looked in the page source. (Not a programmer.)
