This post was deleted for the following reason: This is not a good metafilter post. -- vacapinta

You've linked to a very short and insubstantial article. This is a really weak post and I am of the opinion that it should be deleted.

BBC Radio 4's PM reported this weekend that Al Qaeda supporters (on web sites) had expressed indifference to the candidates, each one was considered an enemy of Islam.
There was a caveat however that perhaps it would be good if McCain *did* win since then he might die in office and "that retard Palin" would become president.

"The message is credited to a frequent and apparently respected contributor named Muhammad Haafid. However, Haafid is not believed to have a direct affiliation with al-Qaeda plans or knowledge of its operations."

This could have been good as one link of a suite, but as a single link post, I agree it's weak... though funny.
To be fair to the original language, though, there is no real difference between "a supporter of Al Qaeda" and "Al Qaeda", and that is sort of the entire point of the movement.
It's not as if they have membership cards and meetups.
