Behind the scenes on election night, a set of candid photos by David Katz, Obama's longtime photographer.
This post was deleted for the following reason: Yeah, this is probably not really needing its own post. Nice pictures, though. -- cortex
Don't we have enough pictures of Obama floating around here already?

I am wondering who a lot of the unnamed people are - relatives? cousins?

I'm starting to have hope and dream fatigue.

Hope and dream fatigue, sure, but I console myself with the sweet, sweet tears of the bitters.

Look, I love this guy, I adore this guy, this guy is second only to my husband and my father, but Obama on Flickr does not a FPP make.

I'm still trying to figure out how I can take advantage of the fact that I'm flickr friends with the President-elect.

Can I just say that it's awesome that this is on Flickr? Not released to print picture desks, not given to the newswires, but on Flickr. This President has surrounded himself with a team that gets it. He's the first President of our generation, and it feels great.
See ya, boomers.

Obama might be a demographic boomer, but culturally? He was only a kid during most of the stuff we associate with boomer teenagerhood, and he wasn't living in the country to boot.
