After 10 months of planning, the elaborate funeral of the revered King of Thailand's sister, took place the other day. The AFP made a grave error in the 11th paragraph of a story about a bomb which went off in front of a stage at the Government House compound.
From the AFP story:
"The political unrest gripping the country had briefly paused for the six-day funeral of deeply-revered King Bhumibol Adulyadej, which ended on Wednesday, but analysts had warned that it was likely to restart soon afterwards."

Yes. That is true. That was an error that the AFP made. Good point.

I don't understand what the point of this FPP is. The AFP said the king died, rather then his sister. But so what? Why is that a big deal? What are the consequences of the mistake?

Well then, long live the king, if that helps.

And I hate the internet. Once you hit publish there's no way to correct that stuff.
