Change Marches Into the Hospital

This post was deleted for the following reason: I don't think we need updates re: individual pages of change.org, it's kind of drilling down a bit far and a bit too frequently into a single site that's already been covered. -- cortex
My browser hates that link. Add a trailing slash.

What worries me most is the public's embrace of propaganda. Please don't do this here.

Pastabagel,
While I am proud to be an avid supporter of the cause the link above is not propaganda. Having citizens participate in their government to this extent is a remarkable achievement in the history of liberty, democracy, and freedom. Regardless of if Obama succeeds in any of his policy proposals, the innovative use of social networking technology to open the doors of government is amazing.
When change.gov first opened many called for it to include comments and space for discussion on specific policies. Here it is.

I just don't see this making a rip. People write their representatives. This is just another way to do that. I really doubt you'll see something posted that will become "the solution." Maybe, and good on them for giving another avenue to vent, but almost every politician has a feedback form. Not much new here.
The people have been pretty clear on what they want or don't want. Conflicting views sometimes, but they have already spoken. Now it's time to act. How is this going to help? Seems more like a pretense of listening than any real change.
Might as well do a Web Poll.

That it's tied to my job.
I would post that on the link provided if my browser didn't get sad and take a nap every time I open it.
