Her Cute Little Doggy

This post was deleted for the following reason: Yeah, this dog has been kind of everyone on the net for a while now and there's not much to this post other than "hey, there's that freaky looking dog again". -- cortex
I don't.

I'm sure you could make any animal look "evil" if you took pictures of it at short enough intervals while it was chewing and tugging on a chew toy, and only picked the ones where its face was contorted. What does the dog look like while he's just laying around?

This was a bad post on the linked site. Here it's even worse.

Hate to break it to you, The Bellman, but your dog isn't scary in either of those photos.
And I guess when metafilter is down for a weekend we get weak sauce posts when it comes back.

The dog's name is "Titan". The owner has been posting shots of him on flickr for a long time.

Was anyone else reminded of the bug monster from Men In Black?

Not sure this is "best of the web," but there is a point here. When Mrs. Reasonable was just a kid, her beloved family pet mauled the crap out of her. No provocation anyone could see and he seemed perfectly happy and normal afterward.
This dog, I'm sure, is a big lovable goof that would never hurt the small equally lovable little girl, but...if "something" got into the dog, that little girl would be a quivering mess in like 30 seconds. It should give you pause. Like when you realize all of the chemicals you keep under the sink or up in the high cabinet could kill an inquisitive and thirsty child.
I'm not saying you shouldn't clean house or own big-ass dogs, but it doesn't hurt to be reminded from time-to-time that dogs like this could probably take you in a fair fight, and your little kid doesn't stand a chance. Unless you've got this kid.
