I'm sorry to say I don't find it very mind-blowing. Sounds like they're doing as well as can be expected. Good luck to them.

She’s my daughter. I love her and she will want for nothing.
I bet she'll want for quite a lot. An adolescence for starters.

Wow, this seems so intrusive. This is really no one's business but the families involved.

A 13-year-old boy and 15-year-old girl have had sex more recently than many people here. Me for one. You should have waited for Feb. 14 to post this, just to make it sting a little more.

Business is the operative word here. There's money to be made from this publicity.

Only a year until his missus can get her tits out for Page Three to fund the sprog's upbringing - ideally to be placed opposite similar a screed tut-tutting at the sexualisation of our youth.

FarkFilter?
What a damning indictment on Britain’s hugely expensive sex education programme in schools.
Thanks, The Sun, for reminding us all that the US doesn't have a monopoly on dumb puritan rednecks in the English-speaking world.
Last night Michaela Aston, of the anti-abortion Christian charity LIFE, said: “We commend these teenagers for their courage in bringing their child into the world.
“At the same time this is symptomatic of the over-sexualisation of our youngsters and shows the policy of value-free sex education just isn’t working.”
I would have loved to see the look on her simple, dull-eyed little face as she contemplated what kind of moral judgment to make on this. "Abortion... bad. But sex... bad. My God show what good, I show bad. Why no?"

I'm not surprised that this 13 year old kid has a child. It's hard to make your pocket money stretch to a bottle of cider and condoms.
In another twist of irony, not only does he look like the baby's older brother, but his girlfriend looks old enough to be mother to them both.
Good luck to them. He'll need to be delivering newspapers across half the UK to earn the cash to pay for nappies and food.

Agreeing with Saddo:
Or maybe it's the boy's dad who has gone and knocked her up and wants his boy to take the rap because the DNA test could be similar for both, while the 15 year old mother is protecting the father of the alleged 13 year-old boy-dad? The man-dad could have easily had the birds and bees talk earlier and enouraged his 13 boy to have 'sex' with his girlfriend, so that the boy, who confesses he didn't really know what he was doing, errantly believes that the child is his own.
Or the boy could just be the real baby-daddy.
Disturbing, either way.
