American, and British philosophers. Having both of these streams brought to my attention separately, I thought it may be interesting to bring them together for contemplation.

What we want from artists - to be helped to notice what we have already seen.There is a whole school of thought based on this, I know. Stating that we wouldn't have recognized the bleeding obvious, if they hadn't described it first for us.
