Deconstructing Mad Men

Tom & Lorenzo aren't just recappers, they are geniuses. Originally a recap blog for Project Runway, Tom & Lorenzo have extended their blogging to MAD MEN. From intuitive recapping to deconstructing the costumes and sets, theirs is a go-to blog for Monday morning copy writers.
This post was deleted for the following reason: there's a MadMen post a few posts away. I know this is a slightly different topic, but it can either go there or you can repost it when there's not a Mad Men post on the front page. -- jessamyn
I kind of prefer my gossipy posts about Angelina Jolie and Cameron Diaz tossed with a little snark for spice instead of the typical "Isn't she a GODDESS in red?" and "J'ADORE la black pumps! OMG" fare.

We've covered Project Rungay before. We have even covered Project Runway's guide to Mad Men before.

Seriously, we don't need two different Mad Men recapping threads on the same day, regardless of whether the recaps are by different people. Post it in the other thread.
I'm sure these guys are great, but the poster of the other thread ate your lunch. Them's the breaks.

My theory of media consumption is: If everyone is talking about it for a long time, it's probably good/influential so I'll check it out. But all I ever hear about Mad Men is "they drink/smoke a lot", "wow, those period costumes" and "check out the rack on her". So my theory may need modification.

Then you need a different social circle, because what's interesting about the show is the smart writing, the unexpected plots, and the indelible characters.
