Somebody satirized Wikipedia, and nobody came to the party.

Ya see, there's a website. Full of savage mocking of Wikipedia and its sometimes-flaky leadership. Plus in-jokes that (presumably) only a Wikipedia insider would "get".

And yet, it's not mentioned anywhere on Wikipedia, nor on the forum where Wikipedia is critiqued. I don't get it. Are they simply not aware of that site, or are they choosing to pretend it doesn't exist?

So why don't you put it on Wikipedia?

...this is so inside baseball it is wrapped in a mile of yarn. Also, the "CARTOONS" link is really NSFW.

Why is MeFi turning into the Wikipedia Fan Club?

Massively NSFW if you actually click any of the links. Also idiotic. Why is this here?

I don't get it. Why is it surprising that Wikipedia doesn't mention this crappy, axe-grindy website?

If it were a good party I'm sure people would come.

Still mad at those jerkoffs for deleting The Hammer Of Glory page. "Non-notable hammer' my ass. That thing traveled by foot, skateboard, bicycle, hand truck, wheelbarrow, roller skate and kinetic sculpture to tap the first keg of beer at Philly Beer Week. The mayor tapped the keg, and it was on the front page of the Philadelphia Inquirer (for whatever that's worth).

I'm not mentioned on Wikipedia either. I think they're choosing to pretend I don't exist.

Those are two extremely reasonable positions to take.

Ever since I noticed that Wikipedia won't let people edit the release date for Super Mario Bros. I've decided that it's full of shit. Apparently the official Nintendo documentation isn't good enough for them.

NSFW!!! Jeeze.

And what a waste of electrons that website is...

... and thus it came to pass that the Church of Wikipedia split in two over one simple issue of doctrine: Brian Peppers, notable or not?

You're just fishing for a really good deletion reason from cortex, aren't you.

Oh ha, it's the cortex fanclub guy. No thanks, I've clicked your links before and they are no picnic.
