Incredible Russian Photographs

A Russian photographer developed a method to take color photos in 1910. A selection of incredibly vivid photos taken using a specially designed camera by Sergei Mikhailovich Prokudin-Gorskii, photographic surveyor to Tsar Nicholas II. Hundreds were purchased by the Library of Congress in 1948 and still remain in their collection.
