That channel mixer, add mask and then it all goes grey always confuses me too.

LOL! And redeye removal is easier when copying the iris area of the green channel into the red channel, the technique in the video is way too much work.

I expected to dislike that.

This video took thinking-I-am-not-going-to-like-it-but-actually-liking it to the next level! First I liked the video in spite of my expectations. Then I liked the pimped out unicorn in spite of my disdain for the profusion of tools portrayed! Bravo!

Yeah, you know... mildly diverting.
But I watch this and the thing that stands out to me is *how much* effort went into producing this - writing the lyrics and the music, recording them both to a high standard, conceiving and producing the video, working with the (large number of) actors, the (pretty sophisticated) post production... and all this for a lulz song about using Photoshop, which an incredibly narrow - relatively speaking - niche of people will understand?
I am officially old.

Uh, for the first operation, shouldn't he have used a channel mixer adjustment layer instead of a duplicate layer and a mask? That way you can continue to tweak the mix after masking?
