hehe, nice timing. Just walked in the door and while I was out I spent a bit of time digging around in an indie-rock/uber-hipster record store. Walking out the door, there was this pale white kid with clothes about 10 sizes too large for him passing by. He glances over and breaks into a giant grin-
him: 'Oh wow, like, a real record store n shit? They got like, Eminem n shit??'
me, trying to hold back a grin: 'Yeah, man. They've got a whole section in there for Eminem, just ask the dude working, I think he's a big fan..'
I like to think that by now Mr. Baggy Pants and Mr. Tight Pants are good friends, are planning to record an album together, and there will soon be a reality tv series depicting their shenanigans.

goddamn it chimaera, it's Tuesday and I'm supposed to go see Ween next Monday - you realize that song still won't be out of my head by then, don't you?

The song is catchy, although not particularly special. The humor which he infuses into the lyrics and the video however, really makes it.

That first link with the superfast rapping was very awesome. I haven't heard good flow like that in a while. The wikipedia tribute wasn't quite as impressive, but it was cute.

Yeah, I am not sure what about this is supposed to be terribly impressive. If it is his speed, I don't get it; plenty of people have rapped that fast before (there is, of course, a ceiling to how fast one can rap, and plenty of rappers spend their entire careers bumped up against that ceiling). If the impressive part is that he is white, I really don't get it (white rappers love rapping fast, and there are a lot of them that do it much better than this guy).
That said, I liked the video. There is something endearing about it, as much as I wish the "OMG HE'S WHITE AND RAPS!!!!1!!" novelty would lose its luster to the world. He is talented, and seems nice, so I guess that's enough.

The fast rap was pretty dope, though it's also pretty short. Wikipedia was a good idea, but sucked. Had to turn that joint off.
Nothing super special as has been noted, but the one 1:28 video was cool.

I made a mistake and posted before watching the wikipedia thing.
And then, I made an even bigger mistake and watched it. I now sort of really loathe this kid.

"...judged not by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. Except white kids rapping, which is totally hilarious and noteworthy each and every time it happens, am I right?"

Saw this last night on reddit, which I think is ground zero for this one, since the video had about 300 views at that time. Currently it's at almost 200,000.
What I learned from that thread: this guy, George Watsky, is known in slam poetry circles. See Drunk Text To God.
