Ah, Habbo Hotel, where the teenage girls trade cybersex for furniture.

You sure can. (via SA forums, via Drudge?!)

The SA forums did a bit of an 'invasion' there recently. Not sure what the result was, but I'm sure it wasn't pretty. If there are any corpses littering the ground with names that begin 'Geno', that's them.

ohhhh those were the Geno people yelling Hitler is God. Should have smelled some Lowtax in there somewhere.

it seemed cool.. maybe i'll plunge into it when i'm a little bit more awake.. in the meantime, someone organize a party somewhere in the hotel.. i'll bring the furniture.

Funny, I used to go there an play battleship against people all the time in the game room.

I got bored ...couldn't find anyone.

If someone organizes a get together it could be fun

Hmmm. So I read about Habbo here a couple of months after it's covered by the free in-train magazine for GNER. Who said Mefiers aren't at the cutting edge of the Internet?

And it won't go through the firewall, so no cybersex with teenage girls for me. Story of my life.

dam this is old - cant believe u lot have jsut stumbled on it - i was playing the beta last year!!!

I can't get in. Internet Explorer keeps complaining about page faults as I hit the "Lets Go" button. I tried following their poor excuse for technical support but it made no change. Seems a bit of a waste for a graphic IRC system. Reminds me of The Palace.

I'm more interested in what other people might do with FUSE Light (or the Perl clone), a stripped version of Habbo Hotel's FUSE software. But I'm into those things.

i'll bring the furniture.

who'll bring the cybersex?

bobba ing bobba bobba!

looks like the firewall is gonna keep me out during work hours too.

Crazy stuff goes on in there some brit gang of kids get together and terrorize other kids its like 'Lord of the Flies' with teenage pimps and prostitutes.. its evil.. yet, strangely appealing.

wow! you say

'Lord of the Flies' with teenage pimps and prostitutes

like it's a bad thing.

Once you've had a pig head on a spike you never go back!

yo. bum rush the show!

This sounds (and looks) almost exactly like another graphics based chat program, The Palace. The companies that ran it are now bankrupt (unfortunately) but palacoholics still run sites. Actually like it better than this place because it has a wider range of people and places to visit (and who can say no to virtual bondage bars?)

Jeezus. I just woke up. When do you people sleep?

I found it kind of boring, except for seeing jcterminal taking a bubble bath with some guy. I liked the Palace better, back in the day.
