There are several sites that present maps of the Internet: geographic, technical, and historical. And now, you can hang one on your wall.
The second link in tranquileye's post lead me eventually to Mappa.mundi magazine map of the month, which has a whole bunch of maps related to the net.
Maps, yum. I certainly enjoy it when Metafilter serves up links like this.
