Hand-arm vibration syndrome may be associated with prolonged use of vibrating computer games. Prolonged in this case means seven hours per day, which seems to be "excessive and exceeds the manufacturer's recommendation." Methinks this is the least of his problems.
Please, please, please tell me this is a joke.
Perhaps I should be worried that my first impulse was to laugh at this dude, but I have trouble sumoning up any sympathy.

Sounds like another of the repetitive stress disorders which keep popping up as our species begins to interface more and more with machines. No laughing matter for the surprisingly large percentage of Metafilter users who have or will probably end up with carpal tunnel syndrome as a result of spending so much of our lives attached to a computer.
What's interesting is that after 2.5 million years, we're still learning the design limitations of our bodies.

I don't know if we're still learning the limitations, necessarily, Hildago. I mean, heck, most people know that their bodies aren't really built for things like football and skydiving.
We're just learning how far we can push the envelope.
