The new entry in Fox's "reality" lineup: Glutton Bowl. Eat a bowl of mayonnaise, win fabulous cash prizes. For this they're canceling Family Guy and Futurama?
Next up, America's Most Dangerous Projectile Vomiting.

Disgusting.
I hope this won't be imported over here in Europe.
Mmm, maybe would serve as a psychological weapon against poor countries? Like, "see, did you know that you can die eating too much?".
Is this american pop culture at its best or what?

For some reason, an entire bowl of mayonaise - side, of course, not mattering - doesn't seem like such a challenge.

Is it really good, homemade mayonnaise, or just something out of a jar?
Yeah, it's disgusting, but it's probably extremely cheap to produce, and there must be a significant number of people out there who'd watch it. "Hey, Ethel, come see this. Some fella's gonna eat a stick of butter in ten seconds. Hell, that's somethin' innit?"
Sponsored by Pepcid AC and Maalox, I shouldn't wonder.
Also, not to be a stickler, but it seems like a one-time show, so they probably didn't have this in mind when they canceled any of their series.

They should have the Japanese kid who ate all those hot dogs at Coney Island as a contestant.

This has nothing on Wingbowl.
For sheer gluttony, check out wingbowl in Philadelphia.
And watch video under the "wingador" link here.

Watch Dong_Resin bludgeon A Random Overpaid Program Executive Like They're A Side Of Beef And He Is Rocky is a show I think we could all get behind.
Every week, you get to pick a new bigwig. I get to pick a new blunt object.
I do the heavy lifting, Fox keeps the talent pool fresh. Everybody wins.
