Prophet Kim Miller resurfaces and predicts The Beginning of the End on the Millenium's 777th day. Which just so happens to be today, here on North America's west coast, for about the next 45 minutes as of this post and has to do with the Olympics as well.

You may remember Kim Miller and his flock, known as the "Concerned Christians" from back in 1999, when several of them were deported from Israel.

the important thing about a prediction, an horoscope, an oracle, etc., is that they emphazise in something that maybe we have not considered before. it is not going to happen at all, the prediction just says "take care of this", kind of an advice. if you consider the real possibilities with what the predicition say, you have a wider point of view of the real situation, that way, you may be prepared…

This is no different then the whole Kaballah idea -- only in this particular christian version of it prophets are going for an intellectually lazy interpretation of that whole dubious theory. No complex calculations, no concordance aspect, just having the number plain as day in front of your eyes, repeated for emphasis. The followers of this kook even go so far as to ignore the fact that "year 0" is a few years off from the real thing. Yawn.

This is a great homor site. I wonder if the guy tours? He could team up with Chris Rock and they could sell out the garden.

I don't understand why people continue to make predictions. It must be something about a mundane and boring life that makes someone wish that god would come down and shake all the sinners. People are in fear of Traffic School Saturday morning so they hope that it will all end in a blaze of glory.

I often look forward to the next great California earthquake. It'll give me something to do.
