Make plans to be part of the biggest paintball game ever. Mark your calendars, set your schedule, sign up quick. August 31, 2002 will be a historical date in the annals of Paintball history. William Shatner, the man known to millions of fans as "Captain James T. Kirk" will lead one of the three teams attempting to control the destiny of the universe.
I love Paintball. They don't call me the "Bombay Bomber" for nothing. :)

I can picture it now: my moment of glory.
I jump out from behind the tree, point my gun at Shatners head and scream, "This is for all those red ensigns, you bastard!!"
*pow* *pow* *zap* *splat* *splat*
Die!! Die!!
Aaahahahahahahahahahaha...</laughter type="maniacal">
ahem... excuse me...

Man, that would be fun. Paintball is silly, but - DAMN is it fun. WFS would propably be fun to play with, too.

Hey, me too! I was imagining Shatner using the Enterprise's tractor beam to make Gandymede bounce off Jupiter and Saturn and then hit Pluto to double the bonus and light the Neptune spinner.

Is there ANYTHING that Shatner can't or won't do? Mark my words, when he shuffles off his mortal coil, the impact on US culture and outpouring of emotion will be enormous...akin to Princess Di's death in the UK. You laugh at my statement, but you'll see...

Cool link. I was planning on heading to Chicago this summer sometime to see relatives and look into a business thingy.
Now I think I have some firm dates.

Ah, but will Shatner assemble his mighty Iron Chefs to do paintball battle (and then maybe make a nice salade nicoise for afterwards)?
(sorry about the Flash)

< thread hijack>
Iron Chef USA didn't hit the mark for me. It was just missing that, I dunno, wacky earnestness that was omnipresent in the Japanese import.
The second one was better than the first, though.

Personally, I would pay good money to see someone hit that smug bastard Todd English in the face with a paintball.

I swear, Shatner is my favorite everything. From spoken word Priceline ads to this, davidmsc you are right, when Bill dies the earth shall weep.

davidmsc:
Is there ANYTHING that Shatner can't or won't do?
we can't very well have a thread asking what shatner can't/won't do without mentioning this

World's largest pinball machine, was I believe called "Hercules". The ball itself was wooden, as was the gameplay from what I remember.
Ah, pinball. A good excuse for having a supple wrist.
