Your 3rd post today?! Leave some net for the rest of us!

On another note, it's cool to name your organization after an entire, diverse, group of people who all happen to use the word 'christian' to designate their religious preference.
I'm gonna start the 'Nova Scotian Squid Confedderrcy' and advocate the maiming of centipedes. Haha! Suddenly, whenever someone hears 'Nova Scotian,' they'll think 'hey, don't those folks maim centipedes? For shame, Nova Scotia!!'

...funny, you don't look Nova Scotian....

It's true. But I do maim centipedes.

Gazebos! What did the centipedes ever do to you!? (out of curiosity, are you just pulling off ever other leg or doing far more incentane practices?)

Make 'em into pentadecapedes or something...
Bite off one section at a time!
Raise your hand if you're a centipedephile! (Or is that someone aroused by 100 kids? Not 1, not 2, not 101, just 100)
Get out a pistol and make real-life arcade games!

Sonofsiam -- it's not just this organization. Essentially the entire Evangelical Christian movement uses a special definition of the word as code for born-again Christians. This happens to exclude not only Catholics, but most mainline Protestant denominations. I have no doubt that when originally founded, this was the definition they had in mind (though they have made political peace with just about anyone who concurs with their "Christian values" agenda). By the way, if you ever wonder why McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform keeps hitting a shoal, read this action alert. (The fact that McCain has his name on a bill that the quasi-religious-values lobbying industry believes is squarely targeted at them is the basis for conservative distrust of McCain.)

I once spent most of a lunch hour answering a friend who seriously asked me (a liberal northern Baptist) how Catholics could call themselves "Christian". This inquiry involved not only the absence of a ritualistic profession of being born again, but also the worship of "false idols" e.g. the Virgin Mary and the Saints. I think she was a little more accepting of the concept of the Holy Trinity, but I don't remember for sure. For some people (like me) it's all just variations on a theme; for others, it's, well, heresy.

And still for others it's just a

semmi: Whew, for a second I thought you posted crucify-me-jesus. Let the curious find that one...and while you're at it, LordCo claims to sell some pretty interesting things (my favorite is christ-o-roni).
