What's the easiest way to fool your neighbors into giving you money and sympathy? Paint racist slurs on your garage door and set your car on fire.

The moral of the story: if you're going to fake a hate crime and paint racist slurs on your house, you should spend $2 and buy a new can of spray paint.

United Services Automobile Association, which insured the Cavalier, has not paid the claim on the $9,000 vehicle. According to the indictment, Sealey called the insurance company hours before the fire to make sure the car was still insured.
