I knew this before it was announced... The other day I was buying fresh vegetables and other wholesome goodies and I thought "hey, I could buy a pack of twinkies and eat them on the way home - if nobody sees you do it, it doesn't count" - but I went to the hostess aisle and the twinkies cupboard was bare. Sure, they had whole boxes of the Twinkies Lite, but no boxes or 2 packs of regular twinkies. They didn't have cupcakes either - just a couple of apple pies and some chocodile.
CHOCODILES?
I went back and bought a banana... it's sort of like a twinkie. At the time, I thought it was a local problem - like when my wife couldn't get that one eyeliner pencil at any of the department stores in the mall, but they had them at the other mall - but I went back on Monday and there were *still* no twinkies. Oh the HORROR!
