I feel bad about posting an Elian Gonzalez link, just because the poor kid has been through enough, but this religious imagery that CNN used in conjuntion with a story is just plain odd.

You assume it wasn't on purpose. No matter what you think should ultimately happen to him, the main message I keep reading in the media is that he's being martyred.

I liked when MSNBC was doing another story on Elian and was saying how 'Elian must be absolutely frightened with all the media attention he's seeing here, now lets move down to Dan outside the house'.

Now, that is indeed scary. I'll eat my hat if the producers of that site/page didn't leap for joy when the discovered that pic among the hundreds of spy shots they must have bought.

I used to work for Turner Entertainment. Those chuckleheads will do anything for ratings. They're not above pulling stunts like that.
