Heh. I get the Standard too, and of course the first thing I do is go right to Carl. It's automatic. I stop whatever I'm doing to read it.
   There was a great talk at the Internet Anniversary thing (that is now online in RealVideo) where some pundints related the Internet to the Gutenburg press. They said the existence of "crap" after the press came out went sky high. But like the Internet, a bit more good stuff also was published for the first time. You need a discerning eye for Good vs. Crap. Everything in the world is 90% crap. Everything. You just gotta look extra hard for that Good 10%. The net really brings that to light because the cost of entry is nearly zero compared with other media.
