Maria Bartiromo's hair is a predictable market indicator. She can talk for hours. Joey Ramone wrote a song about her [realaudio]. I hope she likes all those letters I sent her.
This is hilarious, Hildago. My wife walked in while I was reading and said it wasn't funny, but it is. Women take bad hair days very seriously. There used to be a great feature in US magazine all about then. But my wife, instead of laughing, would always go: "Poor things!"
Besides, how many links do you get along with the respective Joey Ramone song? Not many!
Postroad: in my experience, it's not worth bothering with woemn who don't tlak. ;)

I'm partial to CNBC chief economist Marci Rossell myself. Marci!

Maria is cute. Marci is WAY cute. But they're both Andrea Dworkin compared to Liz Claman!

I love it when posts have deeply informing neighboring links. Mmm the vast tapestry of the treatment of women...

Hmm. I did notice the feminist post-feminist critique, and thought it ended up being a nice yin/yang coincidence. The real reason I posted it is that Bartiromo was on Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me today, which was the first time I've ever heard of her, since I don't get CNBC. I just thought the links were amusing, as were some of the creepy fan sites I refrained from adding. I didn't really have any ulterior motives.
But with all of the male attention paid to good-looking female anchorwomen lately (eg Rudi Bakhtiar,Paula Zahn), I guess there is something that could be said about the subject.

In sum: if she does not tlak she is great. Is this true for many woemn?
I don't know, but if men wouldn't say stupid shit like this, I'd be happier.

aaron - i don't think you normally are - but naming a little-known feminist who fights against gender norms as the definition of unattractive smells a bit.
