dot-god domains now available! Don't get too excited yet, though. You can register, if you're lucky, because the server's overloaded. And once you do register, you can't actually use the thing until July. But still, get in now, while the getting's good. Full details are available in the email from the registrar.

Well, that first link now shows that the registry's closed after over 6,000 registrations were received. (And now I know what's keeping Joe Baptista busy these days).

bummer the site is down, I'd love to encourage Ben Brown's rockstar status by buying "benbrownisa.god"

I got endquote.god and josh.god (yes, I'm really that un-clever) this morning. But, we'll see. From a friend of mine that knows about this sort of thing:

"Don't get too sucked into this .god thing... The guy is a kook. I don't mean that he is not cool because he doesn't wear polo shirts but prefers to wear black kind of kooky, I mean like what appears to be mentally disturbed kind of kooky.

"I've seen him do this before with .xxx, .sex, .dot, and other self promoted TLDs, but until .god hit slashdot, nobody really caught on with such intensity as this latest wave."

As far as being down, I dunno. I just registered colleen.god a few minutes ago.

What, is the Prince of Peace going to issue a cease and desist?

I got 23.god, but I am not a christian, does that make it illegal? I mean the entire registry is obviously targetted at Christianity. [No offense intended, just making a point.]
