Is there a letter in your bag for me
I been waiting a long long time
For me to hear from that nameless pal of mine.

The very funny Sarah Hepola did something similar all on her own (see the Morning News), and other bloggers (scroll down to 8/12 entry) are doing it, too. (Sarah is all postcarded out, btw, but damn she can write!) I like this trend. It's so gosh-darned friendly.

Something is afoot...MeFi is stripping the ampersand and then some out. When all else fails, tiny it. onlyconnect, thanks for those links...and reminding me of Sarah Hepola's experiment. That lass has class.

I got about a dozen F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S handmade postcards through PostcardX. That was fun.

Way back when, Fluxus did postal ephemera. Wired Mag does something similar, but it's not on-line. Ta!

i appreciated my little anonymous wishes of goodwill that i posted them here. it was like having a new valentine's day every other week, though the small flood diminished to a trickle and now has ceased almost completely.

Link is definitely working now. Um, has anybody seen my rooster?

MeFi isn't stripping the ampersand, but that goofy high-ascii character at the end. Back up to the "Jul31" and it works fine. In fact, a lot of times these URL appendages are completely unnecessary.

And for fervent philatelists, fabulous faux postage to furbish that postcard.

kevin123, planetkyoto and saltykmurks said they have. They received quite a few postcards, actually.
