Ya, know... life just keeps becoming more interesting.

next time Kodel, you may want to add "not work safe" to a post like this.

Concepts therein sound too much like Huxley's Brave New World.

Too many zits masquerading as tits and paedophilia to boot: a less than winsome combination. ;)

ahhhh, nothing like somebody's flash based interactive sexuality manifesto before dinner.

not to pile on, but the site wouldn't let me select a genetic code name...booo!

I like the idea though-the artist just needs to let it develop a bit more *insert giggle here*

Whoever made that needs to log and get a date. Or let the poor girl out of his root cellar. I'm not sure which...

*swivels around quickly to check who might have seen monitor at work*

log and get a date - huh? Oh, you mean log off and get a date?
or, log and get a date off?

Yeah, sorry about the lack of warning there. As for the concepts, they were interesting to a point, which then gradually become frightening.

Dating? What a strange concept.

I can't tell if you all are kidding, but if you explore the rest of the critical-art website, you'll see that these guys are exploring the strange potentials of technology to encourage discussion and reflection. Their books are incredibly insightful. The Electronic Disturbance blows my mind. They pointed out early on that any breach of network perimeters will be harshly criminalized, and have covered many of the bases in consideration of possible electronic civil disobedience.

For more ironic masquerading, here's the founding goals for the "Society for Reproductive Anachronism":

1.To radically intervene in the reproductive process in order to produce organic platforms that better suit the alienating demands of its industry and its technocracy;
2. to separate sexuality from the reproductive process, and banish nonrational drives and pleasures to the realm of criminality;
3. to create a market in which medical intervention in the reproductive process of individuals is a desired commodity; and
4. to initiate a eugenic program in which the body is recoded through the filter of ideological values that are represented to the public as value-free scientific findings that constitute the nature of human progress.

Their rigor and presentation is unparralleled in my opinion.

Ya, know... post descriptions just keep becoming less informative.

Though I suppose it's a neat trick to force traffic to a site.

Many that have been here a while see these minimally descriptive posts as the glaringly tiresome....oh forget it, it's not even worth finishing this post, point made I guess, ya know?

I thought the "tyranny of genitals" part was funny. I kept picturing, um, genitals, dressed up in little Stalin and Hitler and Napoleon costumes.

I think the Huxley-esque neo-hedonists are still much more interesting. They do, however, seem to drift into near Time Cube-like territory at times.
