Is linking illegal? New York Times article about DeCSS linkage fiasco involving 2600. If linking is illegal, the Web is SOL. This is insane.
John Young's cryptome has an amazing repository of documents from this case, including transcripts, depositions, etc.

I guess maybe the judge did order the links removed:

Then hack the URL for the "counterpoint" article. I often suspect that Frontier / Manila users don't pay enough attention to how the site behaves differently for readers and editors.

Could whoever invented the idea of the Web just claim copyright on linking technology? Then he could sue EVERYBODY.
