Referrer Risk. Got that 1st of January champagne hangover? Ease your pain, go for world domination by referring URL.
Sigh. I know it's the de facto standard, but "referer" looks seriously dumb to my eye.

Agree. To add to the confusion, in Javascript it is document.referrer. But however you spell it, this is another great production by Drunkmenworkhere.

I think The Brain would like this.
They've misspelled referrer, intentionally or not. The correct spelling is referrer, and as prolific's link to dictionary.com states, referer is a misspelling of referrer. Of course, since those men who put together the site are always drunk, it's understandable that they'd misspell a word every once in a while.

In the HTTP spec, "referer" is misspelled, but due to being adopted as a standard, is correct for use in talking about that particular HTTP header. "Referrer" is the proper spelling otherwise.
"Hey, Bob, does your web application check the HTTP "referer" header?"
"Yes, Jim, it checks who the referrer is by looking for that header."

As of just now, I've got the #1 spot. My brother needs to tighten up the anti-script measures.
