You'd think the NY Times (reg required) could get their photos correct when eulogizing a major figure in pop culture. Though they have since pulled down the erroneous photo on the Web, the NYT used a photo of Mick Jones from The Clash, captioned "Joe Strummer in
Passaic, NJ., 1980" in this past Sunday's Week in Review.
To top it off, the NY Post called them out on it today on Page Six (scroll all the way to the bottom). Only problem? The photo Page Six used is of Mick Jones of Foreigner. Unfortunately, you'll need to track down print versions to see these horrendous gaffes.
