Dan Rather interviews Saddam Hussein It causes me great pain to post an Iraq-related link to Metafilter -- I hate them even more than you do -- but this 60 Minutes II interview with Saddam Hussein is too interesting to ignore (and sure to spark debate). Saddam even calls for a debate between himself and George W. Bush so that both sides can state their cases to the world community!

It causes me great pain to kick your grandmother down a flight of stairs, -- I hate grandmother abuse even more than you do -- but the way she thuds and bangs her head and bounces off the wall at the bottom is too interesting to ignore!

Everybody who is not in a coma has heard about this (including the debate challenge). It's not new and the "discussion" is going to leave this thread more poo stained than a 40 year old septic tank.

But that's just my opinion.

Agreed. Between the translator and the"male voice" off camera, I could barely figure what was answered and what was read off of a political brochure.

Rather simililar to our own presidential debates.

Yikes! I can take all the abuse from quonsar, et. al. (I'd heap it upon myself if I wasn't the poster), but it is a double-post.
