EBK & Lj- surely MattD still keeps worst post ever, no? You gotta admit, there's a lot of fucked up shit going on in Africa, I'd wager more diverse kinds of fucked up (from Ebola, AIDS scourge, civil war, child rape, famine, racism, diamond cartels, and in Northern Africa, Middle East unrest) shit than any other country. Not really sure that it warrants discussing, but still...

Africa isn't really a country though, it's more of a really big continent with lotsa countries, but I get your point jonson.

I don't know if it's really appropriate though to discuss this within the context of it being an attribute of "those weird Africans", especially as rotifer pointed out, it's certainly not exclusive to Africa. I don't know if it's worthy of discussion, but you know what is? People who pee on seats in public restrooms. That's like 1,000,000,000 times grosser than drinking pee.

Africa is a continent, not a country, and you could ask the same question ("What is it with X") about any of the continents (including Antarctica, where, if what I see on the Internet is true, the penguins are attacking each other).

Worst post ever is clearly hyperbole, but this is either a troll or the workings of a developmentally impaired mind. Pray for swift deletion.

India is really the true home of urine-swilling. And although it sounds repulsive to us, doctors have told me it's really a pretty harmless practice, although pretty unlikely to cure what ails ya. Now, as far as solid food goes, you may want to be a little more careful. (And, by the way, that story about Zappa was just an urban legend.)

What is it with Africa? Africa to those of us who know her and love her is a wonderland, brimming with unspoiled beauty. It is heaven on earth. What is it with Africans? Friendly, open, unassuming, brilliant, talented, salt-of-the-earth, hardworking, righteous, beautiful, caring humans.
