24th Century Interior Design boldly goes where no interior designer has gone before. For only $2 million, you can buy a Star Trek-themed apartment. (via)
Nerd!
Highly overpriced for PVC pipe and theater gel if you ask me. We've got to hook this guy up with the dentist from "Trekkies."
(I probably would've loved this if I were thirteen again. (and a millionaire also))

Ok, now that's just silly. But forget interior decorators, where are all the scifi obsessed graphic designers? Every computer interface in even the most low-budget scifi shows is infinitely cooler looking than currently available operating systems, skins, and themes. Give me some sweet deep blue and black interfaces with cool spinning 3d thingamajigs.

$2 million is a bargain! In 2001, a 24th century apartment had an asking price of $4 million

Jesus, I can't imagine anything worse. Although, I always sort of dug ST for taking sci-fi issues and playing them out really obviously, I was always depressed by the look of it. Apparently the future is going to look a lot like the interior of a Nissan. If I have to spend the rest of my life on industrial carpeting surrounded by furniture that looks like it came from a show model in a condo, highlighted by recessed track lighting, then the future can kiss my lilywhite, personal jetpack or no.

Now you can be sure that even if you manage to get a girl to your place, she still won't sleep with you!
ST convention pickups excepted of course.
