Nims winter story

Nims winter story is a beautiful, if unseasonal, Swedish animation. May not be too clever on dial up.
Very cute. Thanks!

sorry, the "something worth looking at comment was unfair". i'd just been in the kodak thread, but really that's atypical of the front page...

Very nice! Part of the music (just after the "snowball fight") is a traditional Irish melody that the Pogues incorporated into "London You're a Lady." Thanks, FB.

Quite lovely. Not to take away from anything, but it's a clear homage to The Tomten, which are Scandinavian gnomes believed to protect farms, care for animals, mend things, and generally look after isolated humans. The story here is very nearly the classical version as put forth in the best known edition by Astrid Lindgren.

Nims is a real retard -- why bother to lock the door if you're going to hang the key right next to it? Stupid gnomes.

Yeah, and how come he didn't stop the flow of horse feed? I mean, either he expended his whole entire ration of horse feed in one feeding, or somebody dispensed one meal of horse feed onto a feeding contraption rather than just putting it in the tray. The goober story's quite lovely, too.
