exploring color... online utility to help room designers (and maybe even web designers) choose the right color for their project.
I was about to make a dumb snarky remark about finding the exact shade of blue of a certain carbonated beverage, but this turned out to be the coolest and most useful piece of Flash I've seen in forever. Thanks, crunchland.

This is great, thanks. On side note, if you know that you can view flash and their browser/flash detection is getting it wrong, use these URLS:
Color Name/Number: Interior, Exterior
Browse Colors: Interior, Exterior
Inspiration Library: Interior, Exterior

Here's another color toy to help you come up with a color pallette for your website. And if you need to come up with a bunch of blended shades, try this one.

Thanks for saving me the trouble of griping about poorly coded browser detection, thebabelfish! You'd think Phoenix/Firebird would be among the "certain Mozilla browsers..."

Also, don't miss Pixy's incredible Color Scheme Generator [javascript]. It's been an incredible help on a number of projects.

Also, Easy RGB is a great site for finding color equivalencies between color collections (RGB, brand paint colors, pantone, color cards, etc.), plus complementary colors.
