Every now and then, I encounter something in the world that fits the noun "dandy".

The frontal view reminds me of a certain runaway.

Man, that is one ugly car! People would pay 100 grand for that thing? EEK! I suppose if I had one, to be really in style, I could get a Pimp Hat and a Pimp Suit to go with it.

I blame Brook Stevens (the man that designed the Oscar Meyer Weinermobile) and latent pimp aspirations for those automotive abominations.

Does it come with the blue blazer, ascot, and pipe standard, or is that an upgrade?

You'd think that for 100 Gs a pop they could have hired an actual designer. Syracuse was randomly picked off of a 1960's Soviet map. That thing's assembled in Kazhakstan and the ads were made with a counterfeit copy of SuperPaint.

Big Pimpin' indeedy! Gee, Shaque bought one, I better get on the stick. Yo.
If you're going for that open wheel well look, the Prowler looks sweeter. Trouble is, you can't fit two golf club bags in the trunk. Great eh?

More mutant cars
Don't pick on Mitsuoka Motor. As the web page says, they're
A SMALL FACTOPY
WITH A BIG DREAM
(one can only hope their small factopy isn't afraid of the dreams it has)

Beautiful website, beautiful car!
I wonder what the turning circle is?
They seem to lose about $10,000 in value for every two years you own them, so a worthwhile investment as well!
I could be getting that wrong, but look at the price for the Golden Spirit 4-door sedan.

I remember years ago when Car & Driver magazine put the Zimmer Quicksilver on the cover of an issue.
They later pled temporary insanity and said it was the lowest-selling issue at news stands ever, by a long shot. The resulting letters to the editor were pretty amusing, though.
