Bwa-ha-ha, Wipeout!

Hardcore band Bleeding Through emerged relatively unscathed (video) after hitting black ice on a Utah interstate and nearly taking out two state troopers. On Trustkill Records, the band has had to cancel their tour. Can't wait for the music video, guys!
Wow! ... and here I would have written Jack off as a wimp. This is probably not one of Stollsteimer's prouder moments.

Do you listen to hardcore, substrate? Because Bleeding Through is fairly well known.
We are, of course, very sorry that you were tied down and forced at gunpoint to read and comment in this totally uninteresting thread.

Wow. That crash does not look survivable. I took "relatively unscathed" to mean maybe "only the drummer died", but the label site says they have only minor scrapes and bruises.

Damn I love trustkill...not because I'm into hardcore, but because one of my favorite singers, Meaghan Ball, had a band there.
If you guys ever get the chance, check out Copper (only album="Drag Queen") and Idle Hands (album="Treaty").

Cool video. Remarkably similar to an incident I was involved with. I came upon a rolled-over Ford van on the interstate, I lost control of my car, a tow truck driver jumped out of the way as I slammed head-on into the back of his parked truck. As it turns out, the tow truck driver's son, and the poor sap who had been in the Ford van when it rolled, were both sitting in the cab of the tow truck when I struck it.
Everybody escaped without injury. Truly remarkable in my case, since I hit the parked towtruck at about 60 MPH, head-on, wearing no seatbelt.
Now I know what it must have looked like from the point of view of that towtruck driver.

I listen to hardcore, and I've never heard of Bleeding Through. Maybe I'll listen to this mp3.... hmm, sounds like metal to me.

So, uh, Yesster -- out of curiosity, did the accident change your seatbelt usage?

If I'm not mistaken, the thing flying through the air is a trailer with the band's equipment inside. The white van that is towing it had the band members inside. So it's not really as bad as it looks. Much more dangerous for the cops than the passengers.
Still bad, though.

I saw that on the news a couple days ago. Amazing that no one was injured!

aramaic - yes (and I claim full responsibility for the incident - I was completely sober, but very, very tired, and should not have been driving -- i'd actually fallen asleep at the wheel and came to with no time to respond)

It didn't change his, but it will change mine. Obviously there's no reason to wear seatbelts if you're not going to be going faster than 60 MPH.

Won't some one think of the Fender Amps!?!
Not when real bad-asses (as those hardcore fellows tend to be) play Marshall stacks. ;)
