Colonel Angus Chicken!

News 14 in North Carolina had an online system where people could post school closings, etc that would scroll on the screen. The postings all got reviewed before they went live, but after they’d been reviewed/approved, the system was open for the original poster to go back and change the copy, so you could essentially submit something benign, then go back and monkey with it. Screen shots of the results.

Dont worry XQUZYPHYR, I almost snorted my coffee when I read that one too.
a classic hack if ever there was one. Bravo! We should see more of this! The Tutone reference was an easy one, Mike Hunt was juvenile, but I dont get the Colonel Angus Chicken reference. And could someone explain the Zia Naik one?

internal.....Marcus Melvin, Scooter Sherrill, and Levi Watkins are players on the NC State basketball team. "Wi When Sun" = "We win on Sunday", when they were scheduled to play Duke (they did win).

I can't believe it really took 2-3 years for this particular honour system to break down. Most people are way too mature.

These people had more restraint than I would have. I'd have definately gone for a 'war of the worlds' effect.
thanks for the laugh.

It's amazing that no viewers called in with complaints. Maybe it shows how most of us tune those things out. I wish someone would have hacked our local weather stations during the last winter storm. Geez, you'd think it was the War of the Worlds based on their coverage.

Very funny stuff! But I have to wonder whether anyone who didn't feel like going to work that day ever posted their employer's name. (But it still wouldn't be as funny as "Bring 'Em Young -- contact R. Kelly for details".)

This will help with the Tutone one (call 867-5309, ask for Jenny)

The other was discussed above but it is an oral sex reference.
As for Zia Naik's, I first read it as "Snake's" but it might be a reference to naked.
