Women and Dogs

I think this is interesting. The guy doesn't take photos of women and their dogs, he collects them. Sometimes he buys them, sometimes he finds them but he doesn't know who any of the women, or the dogs, are.
His captions are what fascinate me. He likes to wonder what the dogs are looking at, or makes guesses about the psychological makeup of the women based on shoe color, and photos with some men in them are slightly lesser than those that only contain women and dogs.
I'd call it an odd hobby, but mostly I think it's charming. Of course, I'm only on gallery 6. It might get sinister or something later.

Fascinating, what an odd idea for a collection. I love old pictures, and I love dogs, and I love this link. Thanks hama7.

I'm guessing I'm not the only one who very gingerly clicked the link, ready to slap the browser closed at the slightest hint of NSFW-related program activity.

I watched that peanut butter and jelly dance for 30 seconds, and I almost slipped into catatonia. There ought to be a law against that shit.

That is superb. Similar, but actually no, I am lying: Headphone Fetish. Mainly SFW but you never know, eh.

the point? it's simple:
The point is whether or not the photograph contains a picture of a woman as well as a dog! If it does, then I want to own it, if not... well that's not what my collection is about!

It is not clear if the dog has a rear left leg or not. I hope it does.
This is fantastic.

Ah, but the real question is, which is the bitch, and which the dog?

What? 15 comments and no "frankly, your woman and dog fetish flat out gives me the creeps"? I'm disappointing.

I never cease to be amazed at the inane uses to which people will put the intarweb. Oh well, takes all kinds and all that.
I'm disappointing.
So I've heard.

You'll have to take my word for it, I don't have access to a quote, but Nicholson Baker's The Fermata contains a whole riff about women and dogs - rather, women bathing dogs. Maybe that's stuck in this guy's unconscious - I'm surprised there's nothing titillating here.
