McDonald's to start hawking kid's clothes. Will they make super sizes? (Don't miss the classic file photo of "children in a McDonald's restaurant.")
The McKids line has been around in the US since at least 1996, available exclusively at, you guessed it, Wal-Mart.

McKids isn't totally new, by the way. I distinctly remember it being sold on both QVC and at Sears in the late 80s. Lame-o, of course, but apparently the timing is right.

One of the posters on the Gaming-Age Forums used some Google-Fu to discover that the child in the shot is a wrestler, and that the photo in question is lifted from a previous story about how he went to McDonald's after a match.

Wow. I love Quorn. If McDonalds started selling the stuff I might actually go there for lunch on occasion, instead of sticking with Subway's veggie subs and BurgerVille's gardenburgers.

I noticed recently that the Vegetarian Society gives their approval to some of McDonad's vegetarian food, here in the UK, which is good. The Quorn option sounds good, too.
If only I hadn't lost all faith in McDonalds after their deliberate and decitful practice of tricking vegetarians into eating fries soaked in beef fat.

I was looking online for more Quorn information, and found this page of complaints.
Despite that, I'm going to try some at the earliest opportunity, and I'm not even remotely vegetarian.
