Wing sings the songs you love, in a way that will make you hate them. Listen to excerpts here. Music to suffer by, in the grand tradition of Leona Anderson. (via Primal Purge)

I really hope that woman isn't serious. Although it is pretty funny. I'd love to see what the rest of the family would do when I put in 'Everyone Sings Carols with Wing' on Christmas Eve.

Oh, if only I'd lead with the "listen" link this double post tragedy could've been avoided. Sigh.

She sounds vaguely like Eugene Mirman.

Is this some sort of odd William Hung backlash/derivative? Don't people get it: "bad" music is BAD!

Try listening to Richard Cheese singing "Enter Sandman".

Slacy, the William Hung thing is starting to become a parody of a joke, I think. How many times can people take a terrible rendition of She Bangs before it sort of loses its appeal? I watched him do it like twice and laughed both times but, come on now, his fifteen minutes ended weeks ago.

Mrs. Miller was doing this sort of thing in 1966...and sold quite a few records.

See also Sam Chalpin, which reveals the darker side of "incorrect music".
