I will further say that this isn't so much a case of celebrity admiration so much as it is, uh, celebrity ambush. Very often the "celebrities" have no idea what you're doing when you shove a bag of Booty in their faces -- or, in the case of Ted Leo, are unwilling to wholeheartedly endorse products that don't conform to a vegan lifestyle.

I'd just like to mention that Trader Joes now sells a near-identical product in bigger bags for less money than Pirate's Booty.

you don't even wanna know how much I was paid to post this. I'll give you a hint though: a lot.

c'mon guys, lighten up. a buncha kids that like a goofily named snack decided to pay tribute on the web. a small community ensues. so far I haven't been able to find a store locator, banner ad, press release, product description, or even a link back to the manufacturer's web site. so take your pepsibluefilter and stick it in your booty!

Pirate Booty is the most brilliant snack in the world, if only because it have rise to -

Fruity Booty - the most homoerotic snack in the world. Complete with leering pirate asking you to "Shiver me timber!"

(I've actually only tasted the original cheese kind - but someday I will be worthy of Fruity Booty. Spotted in Boston, Mass in 2001 - is it still around?)
