Folk the System!

Prussian Blue is a "white-power" band named after the color of the residue Zyklon-B leaves in a gas chamber. They do some originals, but mostly folk covers of neo-Nazi bands like Skrewdriver and RaHoWa. Oh, and they're twelve-year-old twin girls. (via Vice.)

The former leader of RaHoWa has publicly disavowed White Power and become an active anti-racist. So they've crawled on board a sinking ship.

Bob Ross always used Prussian blue.

Make of that what you will.

wow.
Reading that made me feel weak and sad. I was sure the conversation on that first link was fake, at first. Then read the interview and am left - just - wow.

Actually, prussian blue is one of the first artificial pigments. It's still used as a high-spot indicator in machine work. I call bullshit on the claim about the gas chambers.

This is the best the white power movement can do? 12-yr-old girls? That's embarrassing.

I'd say the first link is NSFW, but that's just me. Love your race? *Shiver*

The family that hates together, hates each other eventually. I think their next press release will be that daddy has furthered his own cause and gotten both of them knocked up (for the Fatherland, of course).

Bleh. White Trash Supremacists make me want to use a Sharpie and color myself black.

Oh yeah, to the twin's Mommy, Odin's sheildmaiden, maybe you should spell check your nickname before clicking okay? Nah, that'd be kow-towing to the evil Jews who like things spelled right. Or some other bullshit.

Can't we just put all these people in a rocket ship and shoot them into the sun? Pretty please?

Doner: I'm just repeating what the girls said in the Vice article (it's only in the magazine, not yet on the website.) Actually, they think because there's a lack of blue stains on the gas chamber walls (not that I know that's true), it's one piece of proof that the Holocaust never happened. Charming, eh?

I have to question the wisdom of posting crap like this. Is it interesting? Yes, in that car crash sort of way. But you also give them more publicity, which is precisely what they're after. It's just like the clueless "look what that crazy PETA is doing now" posts. Yes, they do that so you will post about it. (Not that I'm drawing similarities between PETA and these lunatics, mind you.)

Prussian Blue might be more harmful to Jews
than the original.

And I do look forward to that.

Poor kids. Let's hope that Lynx and Lamb find a way into the wider world and leave this shit behind, shall we?

"Blausaüre" (blue acid), because it is commonly used in blue dyes.

No. The history of cyanide and CBWInfo entry say it got the name blue acid - originally Berlin Blue acid - because Scheele first synthesized it from Berlin Blue (aka Prussian Blue).

Gah.

I think it's a great post. It's upsetting and gross, but it won't go away if it's ignroed, Outlawyr. I think the benefit of realizing that not only is this kind of crap out there, but not just in the heads of wierd disaffected hermits, far outweighs any harm of exposing it to the light.

It's always better to spread information, even if the information is distasteful or even harmful. OK that's a much larger argument, I suppose :)

no, it's a russian blue.

These girls were on the White Supremacy episode of Louis Theroux's Wild Weekends. I had hoped they would've, y'know, hit puberty and that stage where you rebel against what your parents have told you, but I guess that hasn't happened yet.

Then again, dude, my mother never let me go out in skirts that short...maybe they're just slowly building up to a full-on rebellious phase.

oh please - the whole point of the band is to appeal to the angry white men who will find the girls some indistinct combination of sweet/cute and sexy. The lolita angle is basically their entire market.

t r a c y, thanks, I was close but didn't need the P!

Katemonkey, yeah, those skirts are a little risque and the extra white stockings help to display their heritage all the better, yeah White Power! Yeah! (I'm sure the filthy old white men that pop viagra to beat off to their pictures like the stockings alot).

This is grotesque.

It's like a secret world revealed. A completely parallel society living among us. Totally hermetic worldview. Wow. I had no idea this crazy stuff had any real traction outside of prison or Idaho. (But then I'm from Oakland) Sacramento? The scales are falling from my eyes. A "possibly NSFW" might have been nice, but wow, just wow. Very enlightening and disturbing post.

Don't be fooled. The existence and spawning of neo-Nazi and white supremacist groups and Holocaust deniers internationally is just part of a clever plot by Zionists to focus world attention on and win support and sympathy for Jews. And of course to detract from the real Zionist agenda.

Good work, Lamb and Lynx -- mazel tov!

Yeah, great post. But I'm confused: Are most white power racists Holocaust deniers, or are they pro-Holocaust? Or both?

Are most white power racists Holocaust deniers, or are they pro-Holocaust? Or both?

The ones with a shred of conscience (or, more probably, marketing) claim that it never happened in order to make Nazis seem like efficient beaureaucrats to emulate rather than the monsters that they were.

The really ill ones accept that it happened and like it because it makes the Nazis seem like the monsters that they were.

Interesting interviews with George Burdi, ex-Hate-Rock singer and ex-fascist label-owner, at Engaged Zen Foundation ("founded to foster zazen in prison") and Vanguard News Network ("No Jews. Just Right").

reading that "interview" in the first link makes me think they did not do it at all. it sounds much too sophisticated for girls -- no short sentences, all proper language. I wonder if they had any input at all.

evening, that was my impression, too. These girls are totally being pimped out by their parents.

Those websites were pretty disturbing, but also pretty random... it felt like a lot of it was done to shock people, not because of any deeply held beliefs (eg, the holocaust denying/holocaust supporting thing - I don't think it really matters to them because both positions shock-).

I was also surprised about the number of references to similar movewments in germany - I thought there were sorta strict not-so-freedom-of-speech-oriented laws in germany about this sort of thing, due to recent history... is that mistaken?

brief derail:

does it surprise anyone else that the neo-nazi band skrewdriver (linked here) have covered the traditional-sounding german anthem "tomorrow belongs to me" from the musical cabaret, both given the context in which it appears and given that the songwriters are jewish?

They probably won't be on tour with Matisyahu.

How could anybody be a rock star at 12, if not pushed into it by the parents? What have you got to rebel against at that age? (Or are they just into it for the sex and drugs?)

"Proud Mom" obviously intended the Lolita angle from birth when she named the poor things after a sleeve she saw in an adult video store.
